We are going to review the lucky top 7 "Auto insurance companies in Louisiana" that made our list of over 19 reviewed. What we look at overall is the price, coverage limits, stability of the company, 24/7 claims service, road side response and repair, policy benefits, muliti car discounts and customer service. When then take all this information and grade each company from A to F. Since we reviewed over 19 companies only car insurance companies with a grade of B made our exclusive top 7 list. - #1. Geico - Made our first place this year and earned a grade of A+. They have incredible prices compared to everyone else. Easy 15 minutes quote service and excellent claims service and customer service. Geico continues to gain market share on everyone and that is because they offer a simple solution to getting car insurance. Best rates are for ages 16-50. Though if your over 50 make certain to check out AARP

Esurance - A fairly newer company has risen to the top fairly quickly, We are going to rate esurance an A+ also even though they have not been around to long we feel that they have the best online website of any insurance carrier in the business. Top that off with excellent claims service, and customer service it becomes hard to beat this company overall. We would really have to rate both of these companies a tie for 1st, but this company is gaining ground on everyone. Incredible rates for drivers ages 21-45
- #3. AARP - What can we stay about this company. Extremely reliable. They offer huge discounts if you're over the age of 50. If your over the age of 50 and living in Louisiana, this is the company to go with. You will not find a better company to go with for price or overall service. We rate AARP an A
- #4. Progressive - You have seen the commercials. They make getting insurance very easy. They have an excellent claims service and very high ratings from clients. One great thing about progressive is that if you get into an accident they will not usually raise your premiums just because you where in an accident. Not all insurance companies will do that. Overall we have found that Progressive has incredible rates if your in the 21-50 age category. We rate Progressive an A-
- #5. Liberty Mutual Is a well known company in Louisiana. Liberty Mutual is the 5th largest P and C insurance company in the US. They cover just about any insurance that you need from Auto insurance, Home insurance and life insurance. When you put your all of your business with Liberty mutual they reward you with multiple discounts on everything. Tough to beat when you place all of your business with them. If your only insuring one product with them you will find that if price is an issue then most likely Geico, progressive or esurance will win out on the car insurance. Though if your 50 and over AARP will just about beat anyone if you have a good driving record. we are rating Liberty Mutual a B+
- #6. Allstate - They have been around along time and for good reason. Allstate is a strong company. Best know for there famous slogan "Your in good hands with allstate". People who are with allstate are very loyal, we believe the reason for this is that you can contact a local agent in person if you have questions just like statefarm. Allstate's price comparison is somewhere in the middle of all these companies. Though if your covering your home and auto with allstate they offer some outstanding values as they are very hard to beat when you insure both your home and auto. When your just doing a stand alone policy such as auto geico, progressive and esurance is very hard to beat. We grade them a B
- #7. State Farm - Almost everyone has heard of State farm. Like a good neighbor state farm is there. Well that slogan is well deserved from this fine company. They are rock solid and are one of the biggest insurance companies in the United States. The prices are middle ground as competition has heated up in the auto insurance sector. State farm has recently made our lucky top 7 because of the new discount double check program they have come out with. With out this they may have not made our lucky top 7. They have excellent claims service and local agents that you can talk to. You will find a state farm agent in your local area to talk if needed which is nice. If your just needing to get a quote they do have a online service that offers that. We are giving state farm a grade of B
